Having now seen the dynasty stuff, I think I have my plan for launch.

3. Start up a second dynasty that will be fantasy land...mostly centered around fixing all the conference expansion/reduction bullshite. Might go back to the mid 90s conferences.
4. Maybe do an online dynasty with friends if enough folks get the game on PS5, but this will be further down the road I think.

I havent decided if I will revert conferences back to making geographic sense or just further expand the super conferences

Boys all of you have to do is find a playbook your enjoy and go to practice mode- random offensive play vs the most common defense being ran. Probably some type of cover 2/3 nickel look and do that for 2 hours.
You'll know what works and what doesn't.

I'm playing the game for fun. Doing practice mode is not fun. I'm not trying to find stuff "that works", I'm wanting to use a playbook in a game and see what's fun to use in a real game.
Another aspect that I didn't spell out but I guess I'll have to here is that it also allows you to play at a bunch of different stadiums, hear a bunch of different fight songs, and see everything that goes with all of that. That's fun.
Running plays in practice mode...not so much.

If you do go the route of expanding the mega conferences, watch out for not being able to change the playoff format. It's always gonna be the current 5+7 model where the top 5 conference champs get in and the top 4 get byes. So if you only had 3 power conferences you'd have 2 shite teams get in automatically with 1 getting a bye.

That's cool and everything but if you play competitively at all it's easily the best way to figure out what run/pass plays work and what doesn't.
NCAA/Madden have certain plays that just "Work" and they have a handful of plays that will never work under any scenario just on how the blocking scheme is or how the route tree is configured.

What would be cool is if they release the Team Playbooks/Formations before launch
