There is a massive difference in finding openings in coverages because your opponent refuses to adjust to what you are doing and the game exploiting cheese plays that pop up for Madden every year because of bad coding.

I only play offline but the cpu did a pretty good job adjusting to curls and slants on Madden 24. I think the main gripe with madden gameplay wise now days is how the cpu still abandons the run game.

Ultimate Team is one of those things that if was designed properly from the ground up and executed properly, would be one of the best things in sports gaming and I believe that the college game would actually make it even more fun.
However the set up they currently have is trash. They should honestly just separate Ultimate Team from their games and make it a standalone freemium style game. They won’t need to update the gameplay because Ultimate Team players largely don’t care about gameplay, just their “cards” and they can have the Madden and NCAA developers focus on game play and doing deep dynasty/franchise and superstar modes. Have some fun mini games and such too.

Kinda sounding like there may be something tomorrow. Probably won’t be much again, but better than nothing.

Yeah I saw that too. Suppose to be at 11 am today but I’m not going to get hyped until at least 10:55

Rumor is the NDA embargo lifts today at 11am so should see a ton of info coming out from playtests

Spoiler alert: they’ll talk about some things that are buggy or a little wonky and that it doesn’t feel like a finished product yet.
But that’s pretty normal…..especially for EA games. I wouldn’t get too upset if there’s some negative things people bring to light that are fixable.

Reading a few things around different places and this is a quick summation:
Gameplay looks and feels different than Madden. Plays quicker too.
No high school season in RTG. You pick between QB/RB/WR/LB/CB, select your star rating and go from there.
No mascot mode
No exporting draft classes
Transfer portal and NIL are in the game are a deep part of dynasty.
ETA:
Dynasty can go up to 30 years. Can hire/fire coordinators. Can have up to 32 teams under user control (for Online Dynasties).
2nd ETA:
No XFactor abilities.
Experience will really matter in road games, particularly in rivalries, against top teams, and big stadiums.
