Keep in mind EA has said that they are going to improve franchise (dynasty) mode for the last 3 years and literally the gameplan feature was broken until the end of the NFL regular season.
I kid you not. You could change your gameplan and it would set back to the default gameplan when you started the game.
Players could have 2000 yard seasons and not go up a dev trait. It’s literally mind boggling how much EA has straight up lied to its consumers the last few years.

Draft logic is always broken too.
Joe Burrows Bengals will draft the top QB round 1 after all their receivers left in the off season.
Patrick Mahomes will play till he’s 50 and not retire. These things happen frequently in Madden.

So you’ve heard from someone who played the new game right? Oh wait you haven’t, well okay.
But surely you have at least seen a gameplay video from the new game right? Oh you haven’t seen that either.
So your opinion is not based on reality, but what you feel is reality based on an entirely different product from the same company. That’s like me judging the Corvette based on the Equinox because they are both Chevy vehicles.
On a non-Chicken Little note, really hope we have Teambuilder this year.

The only thing I can say is that if it's Madden with NCAA football skin, thanks for saving me 70 bucks. I can also just sell my xbox.

Cover sucks and all EA site says is cover reveal tomorrow, so I wouldn't expect much more. Maybe a release date but I'll be surprised if we get actual gameplay.

That's because all of the resources go into Ultimate Team and it's micro transactions these days, gameplay and franchise modes haven't felt like the priority for a long time with EA sports games, you'd be right not to trust what they're about to put out with this game.

I'm like you in that I also don't have high expectations for the game because EA. And so I think a lot of people will be a little disappointed because the game probably won't have as much (that's not microtransactions) as everyone has been hoping for since the announcement was made. EA knows people will buy the game regardless
But still it's fine for people to get excited about it even if it's a water down version because it's first CFB game in forever

Letting a video game developer "hurt" you is absolutely a *you* problem.
The COD franchise has shite on it's player base just as much as any other over the last several years but you don't see me in the COD thread rage-posting about it. I just stopped playing and moved on with my life.
