I'm playing on AA with sliders favoring the cpu for the most part and getting realistic games. Win some lose some. Sounds like you shouldn't be playing on Heisman. The main thing is QB accuracy needs lowered for both human and cpu.
Already tried AA with CPU favored sliders. Running the ball is too easy.

I guess i don't understand the RPO's here
I'm holding X and the running back gets the ball
I'm not holding anything and the running back gets the ball
How do I pass?

the one time I tried a pass, I held A (xbox) and kept it...I threw a route pretty damn quick and had a lineman downfield penalty...so I quit trying

I haven’t been able to keep with the QB on an RPO. You either throw it quick or auto-handoff
Try tapping X to snap it and then within a 0.5 second press the receiver icon. I’ve gotten pretty good at the RPO but I can’t do a zone read to save my life.

does anyone else immediately starting sprinting when you hand the ball off to the RB? i feel like that's why i don't hit holes as well as i should.

This is why I’ve always been able to run the ball in Madden and NCAA. You don’t hit the trigger until you’re in space.
Stretch plays are money on this game if you’re patient and hit the correct cut.
ETA: I know it’s already known, but just a reminder. Hitting RT is what triggers the defenders to disengage their blocks.

gotcha
Yeah I did get a pass off, I guess I held it too long and got what the above poster said, my LT 10 yards down field so that didn't work
I thougth I would be able to tuck and pull the ball as the QB on the RPO's, i guess that only applies to option plays. I'm just playing a exhibition game on lunch break to see what works and doesn't work

If it is like madden, you don't want to do that. The AI disengages blocks quicker when you start sprinting. Generally, you want to not sprint until you see the hole or are about to hit it and then sprint.
Not to say there aren't times where you should just sprint out the gate, but generally you don't want to.

Do any teams have 4th quarter traditions? I only played a bit last night played my buddy online at the Swamp and figured maybe they just cut out some animations online. I played an offline game at Georgia and didn't get anything either

Based on some testing last night I don't think all RPOs give you the ability for the QB to keep and run with the ball. Some either let you run it with the RB or pass. While others allow you to essentially do a triple option like in the video posted.

They do not. Some are just straight run plays or a pass option, with no zone read part to it.

There’s an RPO in LSU’s playbook that will let you do that but I really suck at it. It’s essentially the OT 2 pt conversion play against Bama. You mesh/read with the HB going left, if you hit X your QB pulls it, and then your primary receiver is the TE. You can hold R2 to run with the QB at that point. Problem is my brain/fingers always frick up the read

ETA: can’t remember the playcall, but I’ll look for it

i'll see if I can find it, i'm getting toasted by Bowling Green on AA difficulity
Their QB hasn't missed a pass yet and they are getting like 7 yards a carry...... wait a minute, is this LSU real life D from last year?

this is the first i've heard of this

i've been doing it wrong for 2 decades

I bumped it down to Varisty. I play video games to have fun and getting my arse kicked by the FCS Pandas was not fun

Jet Touch Pass is broken. WR gets the edge almost every single time and depending on the defensive formation it's likely a TD

If the servers had issue with the early launch release just think How bad it’s gonna be when the regular release hits

I might need to until i understand the controls a little better
this game is actually kinda hard
Yes I noticed stretch plays and jet plays seem to work well, basically anything that gets you to the edge. I abused those little short routes last night in H2H. I was just having my RB run out in the flats as a check down in case a deep route was covered and they were always open

Good advice. I’ll add that I dont use juke stick or spin moves until I reach the second level too. Left stick for foot shuffle is key though.
