Forgot this game comes out so soon.
Only read the last few posts of this thread but from what I can gather someone spoiled the story? I'll be pissed if I find out what happens before I play through it.
A new trailer also recently came out, right? Haven't had a chance to watch it but heard it was pretty good.

It's plausible.
I could see all life being wiped out as a possible ending.

If he dies/doesn't die it will be the end of the Shepard story arc either way.

it makes sovereign seem like a silly bitch in the first one.
why work solo? I can't remember what his endgame was besides wiping out the citidel, but why not bring your A game instead of that token effort?
Shepard wouldn't have stood a chance and he wouldn't have had the time to make all his connections across the galaxy in order to organize the resistance movement.
ETA: hmm... wiki research tells me that Sovereign wasn't a Reaper at all but a Geth construct. When the frick did this info get out? I don't remember that at all...
And also the citadel was the beacon to summon the reapers. Wow, I need to replay the old games REALLY bad. I'm forgetting everything.
