The new maps are “reimaginings” if I’m not mistaken. The “Wetworks” amp lets you go inside the ship and whatnot. They’re not copy/paste. But they are based on them.

Everyone complaining must be bad at the game. Yes, it’s different and slower paced than previous games but it’s still a very fun game. What’s your win and KD ratios?

Mine is .87 and I’m having a blast.
ETA: I think the people complaining are more worried about their K/D than enjoying the game.

1.32 kd 1.25 w it’s not that I’m getting shite on I just am not having fun playing it at all. Ground war can be fun with friends but other than that I just find myself getting more aggravated at a video game than I ever have. It’s just a massively unbalanced game right now still with the patches.
Although I have noticed when I play alone I have a more enjoyable experience, when me and my buddies play together (we’ve been gaming together since cod4) we just straight up don’t have a good time like the old cods. I’m sure it has a lot to do with SBMM which shouldn’t be a thing.

Those aren’t bad at all. I believe my win is 1.87 and KD is 1.3. I usually play with some buddies and barely play solo. It’s way more fun and easier when you can communicate with your team and work somewhat as a team. We got on a 17 game win streak a few days ago.
I should note that I strictly play 6v6 domination. It avoids TDM and other maps where people constantly camp.

I think if you’re a good player, you want to party up with friend who’s lesser than you. If they party with you, he’ll get fricked.

The game is pretty fantastic if you find that sweet spot of a group that everyone is right at the same skill level.
I really have liked how quickly they have been on top of making patches. It is good to see they realize what they could potentially have on their hands. This game though is one of the single most frustrating games I've ever played.

So does it matter if I’m the host vs someone lower ranked in my party? I assumed it would take the highest ranked person in the party and use that towards the matchmaking.

I think it reads the party leader only. So if you’re the lesser skilled of your friends, you’d be doing them a favor by being the party leader.

I have a couple of buddies who are pub stompers prob sit around 2.5 kd and I absolutely refuse to play with them.
