Yeah he was a forsworn. I saw he had a Briar Heart and I thought to myself "hey I can use that in alchemy." so I took it and he just fell over. It was a few moments before I realized what happened.

Just a tip to anyone that is considering it...
IMO, the Solitude house sucks arse. It has storage in odd place and IMO, the Whiterun home is better. I have Riften, Solitude, and Whiterun. I moved all my shite back to Riften.

It should be the opposite given how dang expensive it is. So since you have the most, which one has the most showcase stuff? (Mannequins, weapon racks, shield holders)

We need more input. Is Proudspire worth it or not. I certainly would prefer a close enchanting dealio and close smith with all option and close merchants to sell. Whiterun has everything but the enchanting table is way too far away.

Just hit 100 enchanting. Now on to alchemy. That is going to be a pain. I should have been buying out all alchemy stores the whole time.

for the money, id go riften. proudspire is nice but storage sucks IMO. you can enchant in the riften house. go for it.

Find a table and select disenchant. Then pick an item with a magical effect from your inv to disenchant.
Enchanting requires selecting the item, the enchant, and the gem. Disenchant is only one click on an item

just made my full dragonscale set, fully upgraded with a shitload of +smithing items on.. then went and enchanted with a shitload of +enchanting.. now my firebolts cost 1 mana each
