So you could have an enchanted bow and enchanted arrows? I only ask because I will probably never use a bow

Edit: What I mean can you only have compounded effects or two different effects in them

Had to sign in for a bit to talk about this game. This game is the greatest game I have ever played. I finally realized this after I played for 12 hours straight yesterday. Tho it only felt like 4 hours. Im a nord who specializes in magic, heavy armor(cuz I dont like shields), and one handed combat.

- I find a partner in crime to be really helpful.( RIP sven )
- Played a drinking game and blacked out. Found myself waking up on the otherside of skyrim.
- Thank god for fast travel.
- Owning a house to store items is a must bc im a horder.
- Level 20 and have not started on the greybeard quest. Dont plan on it anytime soon.
- frick the overlord in the staff of magnus quest. frick him for killing sven. WHY?!??!?! He ment so much to me. I pimped him out in armor and weapons, then you wanna kill him. Then make me carry all that extra weight in armor through the rest of the cave and to skyrim. frick You!

There is so much more. The game is just great.

I need to do this, I have a soul trap axe that i've been cutscene choppin bitches with after I fireball em to take the soul as well.. but a bow would be more useful.

Fortify archery is one of the highest selling enchantments from what I've found. Adding it, with any soul gem, to a gold necklace (made with transmute) sells for a large profit since you only paid for the gem or iron ore assumedly. Learn that enchant soon, put it on your rings/crown/armor, add in the archery perks, then soul trap a realy nice bow...and dark dungeons become soul farms.

Fortify dest/conj also add alot of value to items.

And a lvl 12 turn undead spell on an iron dagger was damn near 800 gold. That was profitable to.

If you want to have a better chance of fighting dragons then you should do the greybeard quest... Apparently it makes random dragons show up more often. That's what I was told anyways

Yea I know, I had one attack before that quest, but I was told that they are more frequent after that quest, plus you get a decent shout from that quest anyways

I ran into a dragon priest and a dragon at one of those dragon shout alters in the mountains. It had all three words for one shot, and I got the mask so yeah it was so awesome.

I have yet to run into a dragon priest. I stopped playing last night and started AC:R. Figured it'd take me way less time to finish AC:R than Skyrim (and by a large margin).

They are more difficult than the dragons with their elemental staffs. That guy + the dragon was such a pain, I had a follower, a summoned frost atronach, and the valor dragon shout guy and I still almost died.

That guy was a bitch the first time I tried him (early teens)

but then it was still a good fight, but easily doable the second time at like 20.

Him + that damn blood dragon was such a pain in the arse. I would be hitting Krosis and then he would run off and the dragon would land in front of me and keep me busy while Krosis healed himself.

it's amazing reading this thread and seeing all the shite I haven't done, when I thought I was playing pretty thoroughly. I think I'm going to finish the GB questline on my current character just to start from the beginning with a whole new one.

When you kill everyone in a cave or dungeon, on the map it marks it "cleared." Does it go back to normal later with new bandits and treasure or do they always stay cleared?

I think some do. I cleared Hrolfgar's (or something like that) cairn near Falkreath early on. I went back after about 10 or so levels to get a sword I had left that trapped souls into soul gems and the cave had respawned even though it still showed as "cleared" on my map.

As I think on it and something someone else mentioned, it may be that they respawn if the game produces another quest for it.

Officially a new initiate to the Dark Brotherhood.

This game has defied my expectations and then some.
