well I officially went to gamestop and paid an extra ten dollars so that I could play it at midnight. That is how excited I am about this game. BTW amazon said they couldn't cancel my order. Anyone in Monroe want to buy a brand new copy for 50 dollars?

Interesting....they removed attributes....
This is huge. It was the damn attribute boost that made it such a grind to level because to max your attributes you needed to make sure you leveled 5 times in each skill assigned to that attribute.
Which also meant to max everything you needed to choose different rarely used skills so you wouldn't level too fast.

Is anyone grabbing the book or do you think it'll be up on the web pretty quick? I normally don't get the guide but with a game this big might as well. It comes in handy every now and then.

I never buy strategy guides. That is blasphemy in a game like this where half the fun is exploring.

So according to the Bethesboards it is recommended that you do not install to your HD if you're a 360 player. Apparently that causes the texture glitch?

I imagine they are working feverishly to fix it.

I install all my games to the HD on my 360, it'll be strange resisting the urge to do it with Skyrim.
still, pretty HD textures > wear and tear on my console.
I hope my 360 is ready for a workout the likes of which its never seen before...

Yeah just play off disc till they fix it.
I got the collectors edition guide but I'm not going to look at it for a while.
How is everyone preparing for midnight playing. I went college style, bought red bulls, five hour energy, cool ranch and buffalo doritos, frozen pizza and some beer lol. I don't have work tomorrow.

We've all looked on the internet for shite before. I use it for when I'm stuck sometimes. I mainly use it to make sure I don't pass up a side quest.

I'm not sure how the red bull and beer would work, wouldn't they just cancel each other out since one is an upper and one a downer?

My computer has a virus or something. I have all these extra processes running in the background bogging it down. It takes like 30 seconds just to open the start menu.
