Oh if you have played the sneaky/assassin style toon you will be UBER bored with a 2H Viking build. By level 30 you are basically all powerful and susceptible to nothing but magic (assuming you dont double enchant your armor for magic resistance)
I found the complete opposite to be true. One can view only so many sneak kill animations before getting bored. And surprisingly one-shotting people with a bow gets boring after a while too. But charging into the fray swinging a great axe left and right felling multiple enemies one by one just does not get old.
Eta: yes, high level mages are truly a challenge
Eta: besides, I feel like the basic plot of the game is more tailored for a nord warrior what with the lore and everything.

I'm about to embark through the main quest. I've gotten to the part where I've trapped a dragon in dragonsreach how much further do I have to go?

Not long. Where the dragon takes you is right before the area where the main quest ends.

I need to read a damn book or something. I have no clue about the magic, making potions, and whatnot. I just swing my sword like a madman.

When I make potions I just throw random shite together to get rid of the weight. I barely need potions for my heavy armor nord. But I guess knowing what to make could come in handy for some classes.

I was out of town for awhile for christmas break, I am feeling the itch again to play too.

My wife is out of town for the weekend. I woke up yesterday morning at 6 AM to finish some work stuff and saw 5 patients at their homes. Had a huge break in the middle of the day where I played for about 2.5 hours. I then got home yesterday evening and played until 5:15 this morning. About 13.5 hours of Skyrim in a 23.25 hour day.
Haven't played that long in 20 years.

It's like crack to an addict man

I've been playing on master difficulty and have been getting my arse handed to me on my spell sword guy I just started. Thinking I need to work on blacksmithing and enchanting to get some sweet armor before I venture out again.

I think i'm going to have to make an unarmed character. Should be pretty entertaining.
Posted on 1/14/12 at 11:43 pm to oklahogjr
Khajiit get a racial bonus to unarmed combat (claws) and the heavy armor tree has a perk for increasing unarmed damage. Other than that, I don't think there's any other way to improve your fists. Fighting stuff unarmed at level 50 will probably suck.

According to this guide you become ridiculously strong.

So sometimes when I kill a human or humanoid enemy their body will shoot across the room at hyper speed. Is this a glitch or working as intended?

Sometimes when I kill people they just stop and run in place continuously.

I figured this picture fits perfectly in this thread. From the Facts and Chicks Thread on the OT.

Ok guys. I'm about to leave for military training and it looks like I won't get to touch skyrim for quite a while.
I have 2 left in the main quest that I am going to finish tonight. Here is what I have done.
College of Winterhold
Dark Brotherhood
Thieves Guild
Civil War
Azuras Star
I have about 6-8 more hours of gameplay left before I leave so what are a couple of the "must do" quests that I haven't done yet?
best $60 I have ever spent

Thanks for your service

I also just completed the main quest and am looking for new stuff to do. Current list is finishing up the Storm Cloak stuff and I got a dragon shrine quest from a "friend", then I'm looking.
