As far as I can tell, no it doesn't, the biggest difference is sneak attack damage. Currently my swords/axes to 12.0x damage while my daggers do 30.0x. Big difference there

, well then you'd be fine with your daedric weapons. I just like my daggers because the damage outputs. If I get seen by multiple enemies at once I'm screwed, it's nice to be able to take them all out one at a time without being seen.

how do you kill a wooly mammoth? those SOBs get me every time when i'm trying to steal mammoth cheese from giants.

You just need to wait till you level up. I'm at the point where a few arrows takes care of them and I'm a level 49.

Anyone heard anything about when they are going to fix the stupid no resistances bug? I've been one hit killed twice by frost dragons tonight, it's pretty aggravating.

All right, jumping into the fray here... been a looooong-time lurker for the most part.

Opinions on which side to pick in the civil war? Pros and cons of each side?

I've got a level 32 Khajiit who really has no dog in this fight. I've basically played a neutral this whole time, not picking sides and watching these two groups sporadically fight each other in random encounters. I was leaning against the Imperials initially since, you know, they wanted to chop off my head at the beginning of the game. And the few Thalmor I've encountered all come off as giant buttholes.

So, thought maybe I'd go hang with Ulfric's crew. I tend to be pro-rebel alliance by nature and thought I'd finally head to Windhelm and get the 411. Turns out, his city has major race issues and the very first conversation I stumbled into in his palace involved him talking about attacking Whiterun and killing their neutral Jarl. I rather like Whiterun... house and husband there and all... and Jarl Balgruuf struck me as a pretty cool dude. So, that immediately turned me off to Ulfric.

Now, I kinda want both sides to fail miserably. Should I just stay neutral? Or did I catch Ulfric on a bad day?

It is kool that I am doing the theif, dark brotherood and companion quest all together? SHould I make diff characters for these kinda stuff?

I'm doing everything on the same char.

bought Separate houses to keep my gear straight. Whiterun has my dungeon gear, windhelm has my thief/merc gear
