I think I'm experiencing gaming burnout.. I think I've put about 60 hours into the skyrim, beat the main storyline. My character is OP at 39 and I haven't even finished leveling all of his relevant skills. I tried making another character, but I can't seem to do it again. Hell, I even tried playing BF3 and Dead Island on my PS3..
What's wrong with me?

You should never have finished the main storyline. I wait until I am bored with the game then jump into the story to finish the game.

Meh. I'm not much of a min/maxer guy. I was in WoW, but I got really burnt on min/maxing after 5 or so years of relentless grinding and min/maxing
. I like to play the game and beat it. Leveling up unnecessary or irrelevant skills, or ones that will take a lot of mindless button pushing to level.. meh. I maxed out smithing, enchanting, and destruction is 85 i think. The rest is 50s or 60s for the most part, for skills that aren't totally irrelevant to my character, like heavy armor.

You can't help but finish the main story. It's really short, which I found quite disappointing.

anyone know where daedric armor can be purchased? I don't feel like grinding to get my smithing up. can it be found anywhere? I have plant of money

Not a grind to up smithing...
1. Buy Iron Ingots/Ores and Leather Strips
2. Smelt Ores into Ingots if necessary
3. Mass Produce Iron Daggers

I've seen a few daedric weapons here and there, but the best armor I've seen for sale has been Ebony. Oddly fitting for a substance only present in the oblivion planes.

Anyone collect the 30 crimson nirnroot in blackreach? I'm looking (and listening) for them, but it's bad enough to try to find specific stuff in a well lit area, much less an area that's pretty much pitch black

They are real bright at night. That is the best time to head to a river and look for them. It is ismpossible to miss them at night.

That's the problem, this place is inside, but lit up by giant glowing mushrooms, so it's bright enough to hide their light, but dark enough for you to be almost completely blind if not right under a mushroom

He is talking about the crimson nirnroot. Looking for them in Blackreach takes FOREVER

yea ive noticed, I've found 20 so far, and have been looking for probably an hour or so. Kinda aggravating, but I'm gonna do it while I'm in the area.

Same here. I finally got a build going that I enjoy. Finished companions, thieves (except for the last one because I'm hanging on to the skeleton key for awhile), and halfway through dark brotherhood now.

I've got an unknown jewel that needs to be appraised. Where do I go for that? Will any trader work?
Also, how do I build up speech? I've got all kinds off expensive stuff but no one wants to give me any money for it.

Unknown Jewel- Go to Vex in the thieves guild
Speech- The legitimate way is to persuade or intimidate ppl when given the option, or you can go to the Black-Briar Meadery and there is a guy at the front desk can be infinitely persuaded, thus upping speach.

That was great. Would've been awesome if they got a giant to dance though.

I just did this last night. They can be hard to find, but they are there. Took me a while, but once I found my 30th one, I found 3 more on my way to an exit...figures...

If you have some patience, you can leave and come back later and the nirnroot will have grown back. That's what I did. Got 15 or so the first time, then when I came back to get falmer blood for discerning the transmundane, the other 15 were pretty easy.
