Best way to learn is to watch a youtube vid with a guy starting out or look at all of the minecraft build sets.

Ive watched a couple and they definitely got me started. For now I'm living in a dirt home though

Once you get into our world, you'll be able to see some people's creations. They will give you some good ideas. But another fun part about minecraft is exploration. Get out and see the world. If I remember correctly each world in Minecraft can be 3x larger than the actual Earth.
Not sure if that's true or not.

Yeah diameter of 64000 km in Minecraft world vs 12700 km for Earth.
Problem with exploring is you get lost.

Also, i'd be up for hosting some pvp competitions if anyone has shown any interest in that. There are some cool "hunger games" type mods out there for download.

I've done everything I can to be safe from the creeps and set myself up for some less hectic gameplay, for the most part.
Some of you should work on completing the fence around the village where the spawn is because you get more mobs there than you should. I've been focusing on rock more than wood so fences aren't my forte.

Im thinking we should delete this world and make a new one because no one is really getting on anymore and it would give people stuff to do. Just a thought to get more people playing again.
