Annoying but oh so effective. He is a fun one to just play with. Not all that great for objectives, but still fun.
Roadhog's special probably annoys me the most because it just makes your character lag out.

I had the same issue. For me, I feel like you want to be in tight spaces with rooms and/or corners.
Throw your flash bang to stun them in place then use your ability that instantly empties all 6 rounds from your gun. Instant kill every time on most heroes.
Seems like he counters a lot of the crazy mobile assassins.

It's the only reason he is worth a damn. Otherwise I feel like there are better heroes that can contribute more. He just feels week otherwise.

I do ok with the soldier character. I also play the tank character with the big shield, but I get annoyed when no one shoots behind it

Pretty much. We had three in our group for a while and were able to do enough to win. We started all as Soldier 76 for the health and firepower, then all switched to Pharra for the second part. She is really helpful there.

This. Amazes me nobody understands this. We always sent up a Bastion on the cargo carrier and have Rheinart right behind him with the shield and Mercy running behind healing and boosting. It is a great combo.

One thing it took me a while to realize was that Mercy had a pistol you can use (hit right on the d-pad for xbone). Made her character much more useful and fun to play.

I mean did you think they wouldn't give her an actual weapon?
I kid.
From my TF2 days it seemed logical to assume she had a pistol.

McCree is my go to counter for Genji and Tracer. They want to zip in and harass and they move around so damn fast that it is hard to focus them on other heroes. Flashbang from McCree and then fan the hammer. Bye bye, Tracer.

That's why I was so confused. I figured it would have been like LT or something since the other characters have an alternative fire mode on that, but couldn't find a button that would pull out a weapon. What few matches I played on PC, the community seemed pretty elitist. People whining in text chat over how bad other players were hero selection, etc.
None of that on console. Probably because there is no text chat but it is what it is

Really wanted to use Winston in this game LINK, but I'm terrible with him. But I've done pretty well with Widowmaker. Got my first play of the game.

Started getting some good play with Reaper. He's really good to use the teleported at the start to get the enemy off your fate to get the rest of the team out.

The only times I ever get play of the game is when I play Junkrat
I did get a PotG with Mercy once. Not sure that speaks well to how the rest of my team performed.
