Just got killed by a hacker, saw him flying around in an A-10 Warthog, we got to the airfield and he died in the feed, just crawling around the hangar and three of us died instantly to gunshots, but we still had almost full blood. Annoying man, didnt get the A-10 recorded, but got the death recorded.

holy shite I think we were in the same server. I was in cherno when I saw a jet bombing the shite out of it. I heard explosions every 2 minutes. Also, I kept on getting some weird graphics

I drank too much... I've already sobered up and got a hang over and started to get buzzed again... Time for sleep!

The videos are awesome, killed a lot of time at work yesterday laughing at those. Downloaded Arma2Free and then picked up OA off a site for $13 as suggested at another forum, and got everything installed last night and working. I didn't log much playtime, but yeah, I could see this being addictive.

Hackers in DayZ now can kill you without being around you at all. They can also kill everyone in the server at the same time.
He knew where y'all were with a map hack that shows where everyone is on the map. Also, I happened to read about them hacking planes in now too so it's crazy you posted this vid.
Found this linked on Reddit about the hacks

I also found this about the weapons
Weapon damage multiplier
I wonder what the health multiplier is for players vs zombies.
Look at how strong the Lee Enfield is. The crapiest AR in the game and also the most easily found is by far the strongest. Guess it has to be since it's a semi with a slow rate of fire.

shite now I get a missing string error when trying to reinstall BE... this is pissing me off.

I have been saying that about the Enfield, that one damage chart on the wiki says its one of the three strongest, but I didnt realize it was iver 12k. Someone in a video said they survived an enfield shot, now I have my doubts.
Also, you guys can report hackers if you come across them, here is the link to my report, it also has Merrells video of the A-10 if anyone is interested

YES!!! I got it to work, now I just have no idea how to play... do you not start out with a weapon?
Posted on 7/19/12 at 11:33 am to RATeamWannabe
If auin02 is still alive, he has a bear trap. But you might have to barter for it.

The War Z -- A New Zombie Survival Experience
IGN: OK, so let's just get this out of the way right off the bat: How much was this game a reaction to the success of DayZ? Was this in development before the Alpha's release in April?
Sergey Titov: We started thinking about doing a zombie game last year and began developing a quest-based MMO set in a large, zombie infested world. Players would be able to explore and “unlock” new areas on the map as they progress through quests assigned to them in-game. When DayZ was released to the public we were really excited to see another game that was akin to what we were working on – we were like “wow, that’s cool, we’re not the only ones making something like this." As we saw the popularity of DayZ grow, and how players and the community were reacting, we realized two things – first, there was validation that our idea of making a zombie MMO was actually right and that there is a market/player base for it, and second, we decided to abandon the idea of unlocking parts of the map as you progress – rather, the player will be able to freely roam the world and gather information and quests by exploring notes, diaries, etc left behind by both real players and NPCs.
So short answer – while we began developing our game before DayZ, we've been encouraged by fact that DayZ has become so popular. And yes, of course some of our latest design decisions were influenced by the DayZ community forums
3 page article on IGN. Figured you guys might find it interesting.

I saw some guy in the middle of the street (just spawned) and he stopped and probably said "don't shoot me" in some language that I don't understand. I didn't shoot him at first because I thought thats what zombie apocalypse jesus would do. He followed me into a high yield and kept on saying the same shite over and over. Capped that fricker in the head
