Lots of people say they are better and easier for streaming gameplay live like if you ever wanted to stream on Twitch.TV.
Price wise they aren't cheap. Not sure about quality. Read some reviews on Amazon I guess.

I looking the box version since I haven't owned a desktop in around 5 year. It's only 135 on amazon. 50 dollars cheaper than the other two. Doesn't matter what it looks like anyway, as long as it's functionally sound. thanks stout.
