its the controls
I'll get back to it eventually, but the one day I powered this up, I couldn't figure out the controls to save my life. I figured it would be setup like most PC shooters, but nothing I did felt right. I would have to spend a day remapping everything.
I noticed a controller option in the settings, but this didn't seem to work either. Only thing that functioned was the D-pad, and it would only look left or right.

its not standard WASD?
Posted on 7/17/12 at 2:13 pm to GalvoAg
It is WASD, but just operating your flashlight takes an act of Congress. Inventory is also clunky.

lol, yea, its the inventory controls and such that get glitchy and complicated

Does the game at least allow you to bind keys/show key bindings? Might go through a tutorial first, never really had to do that before.
Any tips or keys I should know?

Prepare to lose everything in your backpack when switching backpacks.

Not if you know how to do it properly. It's not hard at all.

Yeah, it's not hard if you know the correct procedure. If not, you're gonna lose what was in your original pack. Like what I did the last time I played.

Couldn't you just take everything out of your pack and drop it? Then pick it back up when you switch packs?
Posted on 7/17/12 at 2:45 pm to GalvoAg
when you drop things, often they just disappear. So far, stouts method has been the most reliable, drop your pack, pick the new one up, and then open your old one and transfer the stuff inside to the new one.
But things dont always go to plan, and sometimes shite just disappears

Can you at least keep your main gun on when you switch so you wont lose that? Man I really need to read up on this game...

Your primary and secondary weapons have their own slots, so no concerns there. The method stout is talking about hasn't failed me yet either.

Just had 40 minutes of fun riding a tractor around, then, as expected, failed miserably before I could let poncho drive
