It's only a matter of time before someone figures out how to set up your own private server despite what the DayZ development team does.

You can get more than 10. That's where it starts at but the problem is DayZ wants any new server brought online to be 40 person minimum despite what that host offers. It's just some bullshite rules they have. Until it changes I am good just using 6 launcher to play on existing servers and saving my money.

Yeah, I was getting ready to move out. I looked at my map and they had a group of 5-6 moving towards my location. When I pulled my map down I started getting shot by the guy. I should have just logged for awhile.

Death doesn't suck as bad now, some kind dead guy donated an alice pack, revolver with plenty of ammmo, and a lee enfield with 6 magazines. Morphine and blood, too.

Have it all recorded, including stout bailing on me
All in all, it was pretty frickin exciting, just bummed I lost my M24 sniper with 15+ magazines

i feel the same way. learning the map, getting a better feel for whats going on, and knowing where the best places to look for loot are help a ton.

OK...Next time I will lay there unconscious for them to come finish the job while I am defenseless. If you wouldn't get knocked out for a 3 or 4 minute span in this game it wouldn't be so bad.
Thanks for killing them though and allowing me to get their GPS, Night Vision, Entrenching tool, etc.

I did work son. Looking back, I can see where kids are going to be screaming at me to take the shot through some bushes, but as buggy as this game is and being a realistic shooter, I didnt think it was smart to take a shot unless I could get the headshot.

Yea it lags bad so you have to time your shot.
I wonder what they hit me with cause it knocked me out and knocked me down to 4000 blood level but didn't kill me.
