Couple of questions, as I am a zombie enthuisiast.
Name me the top 5 zombie kills you've seen/witnessed/done.
What kind of zombies we talking about here?
- 'I Am Legend' Zombies - sprinters, run up walls, essentially super zombies
- George Romero Zombies - slow and dumb as shite, but kill you with mass numbers
- 'Walking Dead' Zombies' - generally slow and stupid but sometimes run, climb, open doors, etc
Yall keep talking about guns, but what about axes, machetes, hammers, shovel, baseball bats, etc ?
And where are yall headed? some kind of 'Safe Zone"? or build your own guarded base? or expert zombie killing nomads?

tldr warning
Similar to walking dead zombies.slow and dumb, but just one will frick you up if they hit you due to bleeding.
zombies are slow, don't see or hear well, but if you make 1 mistake you can be in a lot of problems quickly. Generally avoided by crawling.
I saw a zombie on the roof once, watched him fall off, got scared because I thought he saw me, but he just died
suicide zombie, or perhaps just double broken legs
Zombies have killed me more than I have them, so...yeah..aside from 2 or 3 hatchet kills, nothing. But zombies are everywhere.
only non gun weapon I've seen are the hatchet and crossbow
there is no specific place to go at the moment, you spawn at the coast, and just try to survive. Generally, you head north..the cities have more supplies like hospitals, supermarkets, military bases.
What separates this from other titles is the pvp aspect...upto 70 other players on the server, who you can talk to, before you decide to duel, trade, murder, ignore, etc

You pretty much have to play like the Asian kid from walking dead. Fetching supplies. No farmer's daughter to help out though.

im getting online now. but only for half hour to an hour. bout to go run, do that for an hour then be back an play this. getting on long enough to pass out some medical supplies pretty much, try to get stouts leg fixed

Well, yeah it did bang my mom, but who hasn't?
Skype is unbelievably bad. I just reinstalled it, but you STILL can't use a mouse button for push to talk. So when I murder a hooker when Day Z is kinda slow, you have to hear the whole awkward "begging for mercy" part. But hey, no blue screen of death yet!
It's not hard to record on ventrilo, and push-to-talk isn't some pathetic, half-assed add in.
EDIT: Skype is meant for 13 year olds and Mexicans to have phone sex.

Ahh...yea you have to actually click icon on the screen to mute your mic. I see what you are saying
I have a switch on my headphones I just switch on and off for mic mute. Makes it easy.

i just stumbled upon a helicopter crash site...there were a shite ton of zombies but i went stealth mode...only medical supplies though..i know have like 8 or 9 blood bags and 6 morphine

Last time I found one, there was a loot bug, and there was no loot at all. Medical supplies aren't too terrible, since the crash sites are almost all nowhere near hospitals.

I logged on to help jeff in the supermarket and to get a blood transfusion. He went AFK for a bit (shocking) and I came across someone else crawling up. Debating on killing him, but didnt want to risk it with the dozens and dozens of zombies...then I realized there were so many zombies because there were so many people there. All of a sudden, another guy runs by, taking 20 or so zombies with him. I lost the other guy in the confusion. Went and got jeff and we looted the place and GTFO.
So made it back to the woods, checking our map, shite, there is a guy right by us on the map. Went looking for him, all of a sudden there are 4 dots instead of one, and they are looking our way. Couldnt locate them, so we bugged out the server before we were located. Would have initiated contact if we saw them, but the map said they were right in front of us and we couldnt see them anywhere

yeah it was looking like there wasnt going to be any loot...but then i saw the box under the tail of the chopper
