Skyrim was a ps3 game dude that they’ve released how many different ultimate versions of now? 10? 20? That’s a joke and not a sign of a health company or at least one they can be relied on for anything other than maximum greed.
Fall out 3 was amazing and 4 was a commercial success no doubt about it but you’ll find most people didn’t particularly feel great or good about the whole package. Just meh. They’re living off new Vegas which they didn’t even make is Square Enix still the golden company for JRPGs because they made FF6-10 I mean they alll have later console remasters too

I wish they would do this with Fallout 3. It gets harder to play those older games if you're not hanging on to your older consoles.
You can be skeptical about it, but people keep buying these versions of Skyrim. More gamers are discovering this game from over 10 years ago. It's not preventing them from their other projects so who cares? It's just fodder for those who are hellbent on crapping on Bethesda at every opportunity.
I still play Skyrim and Fallout 4 pretty regularly. Have your opinions, I know they aren't without fault, but I'm still a big fan of what they do.

I am not really raggin on them for doing it as it obviously floats these massive budget AAA games just pointing out how dumb it is to act like since they made skyrim theyre still somehow the kings of western RPGs.
I am super fricking skeptical of starfield from what i have seen of the game and Bethesdas behavior as a company since Ff3 and knowing Microsofts finances. The amount of shite that they are promising in this game is insane and if all delivered on will be a masterpiece but as I said they couldnt even get a tossed together spare asset online fall out clone to even run.

Yes. They are….. perhaps in this thread through subtlety only but there exist a fairly big group of people who cling to this as cannon. And I get it too. I love Se and FF and it took me a long fricking time to realize man they’re not really hot shite kings of this type anymore who make must buys. Hoping 16 changes that FF7 remake and it’s two sequels did a lot for it so far in part 1

FO76 claims 12.5 million players now. They turned it around. It’s clearly boosted by Gamepass, but still.
I played fo76 at launch and actually liked it, but I realize I’m in the minority. I don’t remember it being broken though, just a lack of NPCs and missions, which was a fair complaint. They fixed that sometime in 2020 with a free DLC.
I expect Starfield will likely fall below expectations at launch but after some DLCs and patches, will become a great game in 2024 or so. That’s when I’ll likely purchase.
I realize saying I liked fo76 at launch makes me a Bethesda fanboi, but I’m fine with that. I enjoy their games.

Most Bethesda fans probably realize they’re not perfect. Things like bugs, however, are going to happen with a game as intricate as Skyrim or Fallout. Some of the things in their games are outdated (facial design, combat, etc.) but their games have this feel that no other game can capture. The world, the music, the little details.
They also actively encourage players to frick around with mods and that keeps it going for 10+ years

im not shitting on the general people who like bethesda games and their style. Hell im the same way with FF i ate up the 13 trilogy with glee and have like 300 hours in type 0. It is the reddit types not the ones on this board who truly act like theyre still bethesda from early 2000s that annoy me

Does every studio have a fan community like this? I mean SE is shot for the most part but 7 remake and 14/16 is bringing it back.
Rockstar yeah you can say that but theyve done jack shite but cost off GTA 5 for what feels like 20 years abandoning a better game in RDR for it
CDPR isnt big enough for this but im sure theres a minute amount

So now you're talking out of your arse. People leave studios all the time, sure, but a lot of the people who've worked on these games for years, going back to the Dagerfall days, are still there.

I had a friend who loved games like Red Alert and StarCraft and tried to get me into them when I first got a PC. Was just never my thing. I'm sure if I was not dog awful at them I would feel differently
