I didn't want to make everyone an officer, but I guess I could just so anyone can invite. As long as nobody starts recruiting random people. If we want to start recruiting outside of TD, that's something we can talk about, but I'm not sure what we have to offer just yet.
Not to mention that our server is dead Republic side.

I'm gonna be getting this game in the next few days (just built a brand new computer that can actually handle something like this.

About 10 of us are on the republic side of Bondar crystal. Play out a few of the classes before you decide. Smuggler and trooper have the best story lines I believe. Most of us are in our 20s level wise. Any game specific questions?

Not really yet, I haven't even paid any attention to looking at specifics of this game up until a few days ago. I'm def. a console gamer first, but that's mainly because this is the first computer I've ever owned that could actually run a decent computer game.

It's a ton of fun, and having the guild if you decide to roll republic on our server will make it more fun. Makes it easier to find groups, get gear, etc.

Same with me. Just got back from a 4 day trip to Tampa. I'll be back on a good bit this week.
On another note, Its a shame it took until level 28 for the story line to get interesting. But damn, did it. The part where you figure out whats going on with Czerka corporation is pretty cool.

Yah the main Class story and Hero quests are the only ones I give time to really. Every other quest I just spacebar through... its just go kill this blah blah blah..

When you hit 14, don't pass up on PvP. PvP gear is the easiest way to "gear up" in this game. You can run Hard Mode Flashpoints, or regular mode Ops with endgame PvP gear (Champions or Battlemasters gear)
But just a fair warning - getting Valor 60 for Battlemasters becomes excruciating after you hit Valor 50 (~10+ hours per Valor level). When I hit level 50, I was probably Valor 33, and I really wish I had PvPd a lot more to get my valor up. It's probably a lot harder for people just now hitting level 50 as well, because when they queue up for WZs, they're going up against already geared assholes, like me.

Just started playing a few nights ago. I know nothing of MMO but was a huge fan of the Knights of the Old Republic games.
Looking to join a guild maybe so I can do some of the team events. Currently have a Sith Warrior that just made level 10 but I would create a new character on another server to play with others and learn a bit more about how best to proceed

I have been having random freezes since the patch and from the main boards it's not uncommon. I have had lag spikes from 100 to 700 and back to 100 in seconds, but I assumed it was my trouble with my ISP until I read the main boards. I am almost max level and I am not sure what will keep me around after that.

If you guys want to roll Empire, you're welcome to join our guild on Sith Meditation Sphere server. We already have a bunch of Baton Rouge locals in it, and about 54 members total (I'd say 15-20 are level 50). We're pretty PvP oriented right now, but we'd like to start doing FPs and Ops. We've just been told they're bugged so horribly that you have to have a strategy for the bugs more than the end bosses, which is why we're hesitant. But we should be able to run HM FPs and Normal Mode Ops with Champion/Battlemaster gear.
If you want, roll on the server, and whisper "Knox" and I can get you set up with our guild and voice chat. We can probably set you up with some credits too to help get you started, and run you through Heroics. I play just about every weeknight, and sporadically on the weekends. It'll be less once LSU Baseball and Lacrosse starts, though.
We also don't put up with that RP shite.
