I think Bioware could be seeing a mass exodus on the 20th when free subscriptions end... whether they promptly fix these issues or not.

its at 283 now... I mean its really nothing new... the game was imbalanced faction wise before the 1.1 patch....
question is how do you fix that? I mean the factions are what they are... what incentive does the mass majority of empire have to reroll republic... nothing.

Do they rollback the valor to pre-1.1 and punish people who didn't exploit Ilum, or let imperials run around decked out in gear they didn't earn and break the game? They have a very tough decision to make. Either way they go, they will suffer subscription losses.

they arent going to roll back shite... they have announced servers will go down tonight for a *fix*.... they are just gonna have to bite the bullet , let the sploiters get away with what they have gotten and will continue to gain tonight and then attempt to fix the openpvp..... so it will take repubs A LOT frackin longer to get their valor as imps will be geared to the max...

I don't think they are going to rollback shite either. You won't see a lot of Republic 50s PvPing anymore.
ETA: As a side note, I would love to put Ole War Skule in Guild Wars II as well. I mean, in two years or whenever it finally launches.

Damn.. I dont even play this game, but being a mmo vet (daoc and wow) I can appreciate a good rage meltdown....

i did un-subscribe today... they have 13 dys until my time runs out to fix it... the lack of information and flat out lies from bioware have caused me to lose faith... i guess its fps' until D3

Do most MMO's try and generate most of their profit through the initial purchase of the game or is the monthly subscription suppose to be the piggy bank? Might be a stupid question, but more-so asking if Bioware is in the positive already.

We'll do whatever... remember that the Ilum debacle won't even affect us in PvP until level 50 and even then, I'll still grind against imperials in battlemaster gear to get to valor 60. I still can't even get a handle on how much of the valor griping on the forums is legitimate and how much of it is just herd-mentality hysteria. I guess we'll see over the next couple of days if the Empire really has a ridiculous number of people running around in all orange, fully-modded gear.
I'm not happy with the PvP development team and right now it's hard to feel like the future of the game is even in good hands, but I'm not going to stop trying to enjoy it. I think an unsub at this point would be a kneejerk reaction.

Agree, but more so because I'm nowhere near end game yet. Once I get there if it hasn't been fixed then I'm gone.
