just realized there's a kids gymnastics place 5 minute walk from where I live with 3 pokestops as part of the building. all three have had lures on them yesterday and today. finally drive over to check in and the f'n servers go down as soon as I get there smh.
if I was a parent not sure how I'd feel about all the extra foot traffic brought in by the lures while my kid was doing gymnastics
eta pretty sure I can sit in the parking lot and check into all three pokestops with lures at the same time. will update when I'm able to verify

I hatched two fricking Zubats out of my 5 km eggs. Got a Cubone out of the 3rd.

Truck driver checking in - know how it takes a while for rigs to get up to speed? Used it to my advantage today. Plugged in my charger, launched the app. Got 7.4k off a 10k egg from slowing down and speeding up at red lights/stop signs as well as driving in parking lots and our warehouses.

Easy spots I noticed today on my routes - Rayne, LA (exit 87 off I10). All 4 murals on the I10 underpass are pokespots.
Leblanc's Prairieville on hwy 42 has 4 pokespots in the stores and a gym across the street.
Atchafalaya basin rest area has 2 pokestops and a gym.

Is there a way to discard 2k eggs?
I work by a shite ton of pokestops and I'd rather ditch the 2k eggs in hopes of getting 5k or 10k ones

Another random tip. Every time you defeat a pokemon at a gym, it loses 500 points in prestige. So you can defeat one pokemon, and then run away. You still get experience, and the gym still loses prestige, so you can take out a gym without ever having to fight more than one pokemon at a time.
Something I've noticed is that, on your pokemon list, some pokemon have blue halos around them and some don't. Anyone know what that means?

What are some of the CP levels of pokemon coming out of your eggs? My highest has been like 140. Pretty garbage considering I'm level 12.

I'm starting to think how much you level up your pokemon before evolving it dictates the size of its evolution. Every time I evolve something that I didn't spend any dust leveling it up beforehand turns into an XS evolution.

Game froze as I used a razz berry for an eggsecutor CP 475... I didn't close the app so hopefully I'll have him in a little bit

Yeah.....not much better for me.... My Magmar was worse at 29 and I got a Kadabra at 45

My 10k egg was a 146cp magmar. The other three were 5k each: a 285cp ponyta, a 171cp exeggcute, and a 11cp geodude.
So yea, not really happy with those.

I'm at level 6, should I not even challenge a gym yet until I have something with CP close to what is holding the gym? I'll get smoked no matter what right?
