Servers are fricked.
Almost any problem can be tied back to that.
But I read on r/pokemongo that rustling grass is just a chance at a pokemon
There is a nice thread stickied at the top of that sub with useful info
I haven't even been able to login for 2 hours. theres no way Niantic expected this kind of response. People like me who had zero clue about this game until it hit the front page of reddit and here were not accounted for in Niantic's projections im sure

I really dont hold issue with the servers being down, just wish the app wasnt terrible.

Yeah they were just up for me. Yeah i need that abra and put all my point towrds him after i get that fricker evolved. But hes done teleported away now. Saw his punk arse yesterday as well. Maybe i can get him when i head to taco bell tonight right down the way.

I found a 160 CP Tauros this morning on my 3 mile walk. I used my incense so I think that may have played a part in it. I used some stardust and candy to level him up to 214 CP. As soon as I can get to level 5, I am taking over a gym that is near my house. There's no way they can stop him. I also have a 166 CP Scyther waiting in the wings as well.

So I caught a bulbasaur walking to my car after work. I probably saved the little guy. He was sitting in the middle of an intersection. I'm pissed though. I caught a rattata and the damn app froze on me. So it shows I didn't capture him. Also missed out on 2 zubats in downtown NOLA. The traffic light I was at just had to turn green....twice.
