I knew from the screenshots it was a beautiful game but it still doesn't do it justice. The game runs so incredibly smooth and going back to watch highlights really shows how visually stunning this game is.

Apparently people who got the game early and registered the game won't be able to download their free game. That makes me smile

I worked several midnight releases of some Nintendo games (believe me, there are not many of those) and when Nintendo games arrive at the store, they are packaged in a way that is supposed to prevent or at the very least, be able to easily spot street date violation.

They take this shite serious.

Someone in Italy got a copy of Pokémon X and Y early and released all of the new features a day before the release date. Nintendo is going after him and suing the shite out of him.

I was able to snag my MK8 Bundle today from Gamestop...luckily I called the one that was closer to home (the one near work sold their only 1 first thing in the morning) and the manager I spoke with set one off to the side for me

The whole registering of the game though has me confused, the MK8 Bundle doesn't actually have a PIN to register with inside the box and I found some stuff online that said it would happen once I linked the system to my Nintendo Club account. I followed the instructions on how to link on the website and it says to wait upwards of 2 days to receive a survey or something, but nowhere does it say anything about anything else so I guess I'm just waiting it out at this point. Oh well, plenty of Mario Kart to be played.

50cc is really easy as usual...first experience with 100cc had me cussing at the TV and I got 2nd place on the star cup. Lots more action there...can't wait to see what 150cc is like, probably insane.

*edit* 10 minutes after posting this and logging back in to Club Nintendo I got my message about my free game!

The N64 Rainbow Road is amazing. The song remix they did for it is by far my favorite song in the game.

I have a few things to do tomorrow but after that I would love to get some GB balloon battles going.

The racing is fun but I enjoy the shite out of hunting people with a turtle shell.

It took them time to get games out, but Nintendo really did step things up with the WiiU. It is a good little console. Hopefully MK8 and Smash Bros will allow it to pick up some sales so more word of mouth can get out. New Zelda footage at E3 would also be huge.
