Bjerg destroyed Dig with Shiphtur yesterday on Ekko and they're tied for first.

I wouldn't say struggling, they're just playing really really slow. TDK has a shite ton of engage and death timers are so long that any kind of lost teamfight means a shite ton of objectives taken. It was kind of a combination of TSM not having a lot of reliable hard engage, TDK having a ton of disengage and engage, and TSM not being crisp. Really hard to engage Corki, Gragas, Vladimir, Yasuo, and Malphite.

yet the team makeup didn't actually allow them to win, even with that huge lead, once again - ekko might be a nasty lane bully - but it feels to me like he's great in lane phase, but doesn't bring as much to the team fight as TSM level play is use to.

They just struggled in team fights with an 0-5 team... the team fights are hurting, could be be the ekko pick?

lmao what, flash annie is the definition of reliable hard engage.

what disengage does tdk have besides grag ult?

tdk also having hard engage does not = disengage

tsm played like shite

Ekko brings more than enough to a teamfight. The champ isn't the issue.

It's a "skillshot" that's easy to keep from hitting multiple targets. One Annie ult doesn't negate a Malphite, Yasuo, Vlad, Corki comp.

Please tell me how Vlad, Gragas, Yasuo, Corki, and Malphite don't have disengage.

Malph can ult away, has a point and click slow.

Gragas has bodyslam, ult, and a slow.

Corki has valk.

Vlad has pool.

Yasuo has windwall and can dash as much as positioning allows.

you can flash malph ult way easier than annie tibbers, and annie doesnt have to die right after either.

vlad is not hard engage. corki is not hard engage. yasuo is not "reliable" hard engage.

Rumble annie and ekko are just as good if not better

yasuo needs enemy minions and to not get cc'd

malphite doesnt disnegage a team, he disengages himself if he ults away

vlad pools himself, doesnt disnegage a team

sivir ult is disnegage, janna ult is disengage, etc.

gragas is the only actual disengage in any of that team

No. I'd say 50% of it was shitty positioning by turtle and the rest was an inferior team fighting comp. It's not that ekko isn't a good teamfighter but that Vlad/Malphite/Yas ults when stacked are deadly.

yeah.. ekko has

2 slows
a stun
a shield
a heal
an invulnerability
a dash
2 blinks, one being global
a passive execute
extra damage on 3rd hit that steals movement speed
1.3 AP ratio ult

No, your examples are AoE disengage. Gragas ult and barrel are AoE disengage. Just because it isn't disengage for the entire team doesn't mean it's not disengage.

We've already established that. They've been shite since MSI as was stated earlier, but there were other factors that effected the pace of the game.

yeah, tsm playing like shite and not being aggressive.

they had engage.

I honestly think it had a lot to do with bjerg, too. if he's the shot caller, I think he was playing it passive due to whatever reason. maybe not being confident in his ekko play yet

lots of opportunities to close that game out early but passive shot calling + turtle shitting the bed = 50 minute game vs 0-5 team.

also, as of right now NA's "great hope" is CLG for worlds if TSM doesn't unfrick themselves.

NA is fricked.

My buddy that just started playing about 5 months ago completed his placements, went 3-7, average at best in those 10 games, and got silver 5.
