I would like to believe they were somewhat experimenting....they got cocky too....but they know they advance and at the end of the day that is all that matters...they will be in a tough group no matter if they finish 1 or 2

If you finish #2, you aren't an autolock tho. You still have to play in a best of to get out. You wanted the 4-0 for a gauranteed spot into groups

They definitely switched it up some and shite their pants. Core's Thresh was useless as was Renekton for the most part.
Hard cc renders Lillia useless, be interesting to see how that champ fairs come main draw with some clear weaknesses and counters being shown.

The step in color guy from the LEC, Caedral, is pretty good being a player without any casting experience. I was pretty impressed from the MAD/INTZ game.

No doubt... I'm wondering if that's an indication on how the LEC will fair in groups. I'm not saying all the teams are bad, but maybe as a region they weren't as good as people thought?
That's what I enjoy most about worlds. Different regions with different play styles playing against each other. Really excited to kick off groups in a few days to get a look at the better teams.

Mad was noticeably worse than the top 3 seeds. I would still expect G2 to make quarters and fnc to give Tsm all they can handle
