Oh nice. I saw the opposite on reddit guess I need to get back and explore.

There are a few marked places I haven't gone into. The pentecostal church and some office building.

What does it mean when I have a "warning" sign next to happiness in my settlements?

Finally progressing the storyline. I think I'm gonna choose to go with the institute.

You can actually lose a settlement if they get pissed off.

All you need to do is make sure there is enough food and water for everyone and a bed for everyone.

You might need to assign people to a bed just like assigning them to a task.

If they complain about sleeping in shifts, you need to assign some beds.

They suck at finding empty beds on their own. I can have 20 settlers and 40 beds and they will still bitch about beds.

I got it figured out. I needed to be more careful about where I placed my conduits.

No problems with that. All of the ones saying this are in their 70's or 80's. They have every type of shop, plenty of food and water, and a good bit of defense. I guess I could give them more defense and see. Have yet to have a synth infiltrate.

These are a real pain.

Glitched bad.

If you have your settlement heavily armed, chances are, they will kill the settler the second he goes hostile.

If they do it too fast, the rest of the synths don't port in so the attack won't complete itself.

If you leave without completing the attack, then you fail and the settlement gets wrecked.

If you are on a pc, you can open the console ~

Find the dead settler / synth

with the console open click on them. You will see some numbers / letter pop up in the console.

Type resurrect.

Enter

Close console.

That will bring the dead dude back to life so he can be killed again. If the all clear message doesn't pop up, you will need to do it again. Can take up to 10 kills to clear the attack.

It looks like I'm to the point of needing to move the main story forward before I get any more of the meaningful faction quests.

I have a few companion loyalty quests I'm going to take on before heading to the glowing sea.

If you loose it, can you go kill them all and take it back?

Don't know. Since for some of the settlements, you need their permission to use the workshop, I have no clue how or if you could be allied again.

Well I joined up with the institute so the BOS hated me. I promptly went to the prydwyn and annihilated everyone and took back my power armor that I left there, and then jumped down to the airport and killed everyone in my power armor Rambo style.

I love this game

Hit 50. Probably going to take Hancock to the Glowing Sea with me. Less maintenance. Not sure if I will wear power armor, a rad suit, or just bring a ton of chems.

Finished the storyline with the institute. Meh. Debating whether I want to go back to an older save to try other factions, or start a new character with a new build. Leaning towards a new character since my first was all hodge podge since I didn't know what I was doing

But I don't really want to start over, either. Especially my settlements.

Running into random fire fights with the BoS and Supermutants is awesome. When I was clearing out a gunner city, they lost like 9 vertibirds going after one last super mutant, getting blown up by Gunners.
