Just got this for Xmas but have to share with my 10 and 13 year old. Only level 15. My 13 year old has been glitching items like a mofo the past week. Told him he was totally ruining the game. He is not of my loins

My settlement building abilities are lacking. I just put random shite up everywhere and go from there. Sanctuary has a defense of 109 which I feel is decent for the 8 people that live there. I JUST got the supply line perk. Buying a house was dumb it seems. Oh well, at least now I can kill super mutants relatively easy since I got into the 20s. I still haven't ran into a deathclaw yet and I'm super thankful for that.

Yeah, I have the battle ax and costume. I did a level 5 weave on the costume. Melee is fun, especially when I have to run head first at something that I know I shouldn't. A few enemies can quickly become a blood bath, limbs and heads flying everywhere.

I'm feeling this way since I need to tote all of my junk over to make everything I want. No supply line there.
I've noticed some of you guys mentioning tough fights with Deathclaws like at Salem Church or on the Monorail quest with the weather vain. There is usually a door or a building you can get in that the enemy can't. Not sure if this was by design but I find it all the time.

Shiiit... I've turned Spectacle Island into my own private resort. I don't know if you've discovered it yet or not, but when you do, there won't be any half assed building. You'll take your time with it.

I couldn't figure out how to get the walls to do what I wanted while being connected so I just gave up.

I've got a few pictures of Spectacle Island on page 147.

I want to keep playing this game to 100%. But I do not have the time at all. I beat the main story mission and I am now level 41. It's difficult trying to get bottlecaps, repair X01 armor and upgrade weapons and armor. I can only carry 335 and all of the mods i have are heavy.

Invest in the Stength, Strong Back Perk, Lone Wanderer (and you can still use dogmeat) and you will be fine.
I can carry 425 and I still have 2 levels of the strong back perk to unlock at level 36

Na. Just drop a bar and trader at each settlement.
Also make sure you add some stores in sanctuary to sell some of the gear for money.
I'm up to about 130k.
The gun dealer in Diamond City has Aluminum. Just hit him up at the end of each exploration trip out.
Carla should be stopping by Sanctuary and she has Circuitry.
Daisy in Good Neighbor has some batch items.
I can carry 400 and that is more than enough to pick up everything on a mission. Although at the end I am usually over encumbered.
You need to make sure one settlement has a TON of corn and another settlement has a ton of tato. Also make at least one settlement produce a pile of purified water. Then you will never have an adhesive problem once those are up and running.
Once you are set for adhesive, then aluminum will be the pain in the arse. So pick up all aluminum cans and cafeteria trays. Whenever in Diamond City, hit up Arturo for his aluminum.
Once you have money, hit up the junk traders and buy up everything every time you see one.

There is also a shite ton of aluminum to be had in the institute

Yeah, I went through every inch of that place twice to make sure I took everything.

If you want aluminum, hit up the fish packing factories. One has over 80 worth of aluminum in trays just sitting around

So I'm wandering around Jamaica Plains yesterday and I hear a bunch of fighting and then I get the notification to help defend the checkpoint. I stroll on over and help take out the gunners that were attacking and then start looking around the checkpoint to see if there is any power armor nearby.
I didn't find a suit, but I came across a locked up ghoul kid in a refrigerator.
I was like WTF? This game has so much random shite.

Well...did you let it out?
Posted on 1/5/16 at 11:59 am to Devious
Yes. It starts a little side quest you have to complete.
