This isn't a new area on the existing map, this is an all new map. 40 players max. Blackout will also be free from 4/2-4/30

Traditional multiplayer, maybe.
But Blackout and the support from PC streamers will make sure that it sticks around.

All the streams I’ve watched have PUBG players struggling to get in a lobby. Much less a full lobby.

I haven't experienced this on PC. I'm no PUBG fanboy, but I typically wait less that 1 min for a match

Yea I played 5-6 games earlier and had 95+ lobbies with no problem finding them

PUBG - 25,000+ viewers
Fortnite - 242,000+ viewers
Ring of Elysium - 2,500+ viewers
Realm Royale - 200+ viewers
with the battle royale craze going on right now and the hype from the beta, Blackout will be the most played game out of the different modes CoD will provide at launch.
i know viewers don't equate players, but the interest will be there to sway those viewers to at least try the game mode out. and when they realize it's basically PUBG optimized to the nth degree, most will stick with it. PUBG has it's core base that will continue to play/support it, but i doubt it'll be enough. i have a feeling it's going to be the next H1Z1.
