I will be playing hardcore from the time I get off until Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I will then watch football, have some drank, and continue playing until I realize it's Monday morning and I have to get back to the real world.
Also... Are any of you interacting with real people and seeing a little dial pop up in the lower middle portion of your vision with possible responses to them?

You're going to be 40-50 hours in before you get outta there. There is so much shite to do in that area, and most of it is just "fetch".
Just grind there until you can close all the rifts. There are 2-3 that are level 12, so when you can take them out it's a good time to move on.

Huh? Do you mean a different dial than your normal dialougue dial?

This game is overwhelming me. I love action RPGs but I just don't get the skill trees, Inquisitor powers and the inventory system is confusing. Also, I feel like the story just drops you in the middle of everything. I don't know what I'm doing. I think I'm just getting old.

how's this for PC? Bugs, crashes etc were reported on first day release; have there been patches to fix these issues?

You are right but it seemed kind of rushed to go from a suspect/prisoner to leading the Inquisition. It's a good game. I think my issues have more to do with me not having enough time lately to play for more than an hour here and there and not actual flaws with the game. When I get a chance to play, I know I don't have long so I don't take the time to dig into all the small stuff. I just run around and kill things. I was able to put in marathons with Skyrim but I haven't had the opportunity to that with DA yet. Hopefully this week when I have time off from work.

The inquisition is small, doubted, disliked and powerless at the start. Yeah you are the leader but it's up to you to make the inquisition have any meaning in. You have the mark, and are the only person who can save the world

yeah.. Ive turned my iron bull into a monster. gave him an epic 2hander i got off some boss, runed it, skilled him with whirlwind, chain, guard breaks, knockdowns, battle buffs etc.
give him a barrier and he just charges in and reks everything
the constant flirting with the female members and putdowns of the male members in the party is sorta funny but can get annoying
