Lock picking a door and nothing is in the room.
Is there anything worse?

Yes there is. Lock picking a door and being told to use the companion app to get in. Then the server doesn't work so you still can't get in. Good thing this game isn't ubisoft

Yeah, the map for this game is fricking huge. I'm so lost wandering around the hinterlands.

It's classic D&D, so I'm digging it. So much to explore with unique quests to guide you along as you go, I really haven't progressed too far on the main story. My only gripe is that you have to individually pick up ingredients, like shouldn't there be an ingredient picker in my army or something?

I am really liking it too so far. I need to move this to my SSD with all the load screens though.

There's so much shite to do. It's going to take forever for me to finish it.

I'm enjoying it too. I imagine people's views are based on the difficulty and their class. As a mage on Hard, the game is wonderful so far.
I got rekt by some fricks in the hinterlands who one shot me? I guess I need to pay attention to how they con.
Just found a cave. But now I have to get online for work
Astrariums are neat. As a completionist type , this game should keep me interested for a while

This is what is making me love this game, finally a game with shite to do and not one with just a main story. Other games have side quests but this one makes you want/need to do them.

Beta drivers made it a little smoother, still hate the 30 fps cinematics
No crashes either

Yeah..the game is great. I want to explore everything. Once I learned how to read the map and navigate the UI to equip my party with upgrades, things became a lot of fun
The ability trees look nice. Lots of combos to make and you can enhance your favorite spells. Metacritic.com told me this was a button masher tards

Need one more night of sleep to recover from the flu then I might play about 48 straight hours over the weekend.

Like I said earlier, the user metacritic score has lost all value. It's just another battleground for trolls now

I've enjoyed it thusfar. I'm playing on ps4 (peasant) and I've had a couple of conversations that have frozen for a couple secs. But besides that, I haven't had any issues.
It's also been fairly challenging in the early going, since I don't usually play games with combat like this.

Combat is for sure challenging. Not regenerating after combat and limited health potions makes you think about tactics

Do you find the camera angles and adjustment annoying? I need to pan up. Let me attack the air while adjusting my view!

So I played through and completed DA:O with basically every origin story and class. I'm just saying that to give you an idea of how much I like this franchise. Hell, I even played DA:2 and didn't hate it.
Here are my initial thoughts after having about 2 hours to play last night:
1) Story so far seems interesting. I've only gotten far enough to summon the council once and then venture off to the Hinterlands. Haven't done much in the way of story there. I don't love the Hinterlands environment, but I don't hate it either. I'll have to play a little more to decide.
2) Graphics are great. Really like that aspect.
3) Hate that fricking dwarf. Hate hate hate. Ugh. Dwarves suck anyway, but frick that guy. Jesus. Ack.
4) Leliana!
5) Combat is pretty cool. I liked DA:O's better than DA:2's, so I'm obviously gonna be in the middle on that, but this is definitely a good blend. As I play more, I think I'll like it more.
6) Hi Scruffy!
7) I'm pretty positive I'm going to end up loving this game. #teamMages
