i'm so close to pulling the trigger on this its ridiculous.

haha. i tried to only run in pub lobbies to avoid that shite. frick playing hardcore solo. way too many counters.
find a BO Barb to get ridiculous health, paladin for auras, sorcs for tele and ice spells, trap assassin (me) to kill shite off screen.
def witnessed chaos sanctuary kill numerous characters. face tanking Diablo's chain lightning comes to mind.
was expected by then that melee would just sit out any area with an iron maiden curse present. but battle orders made up for it

I wouldn't go HC at the start. I would wait to see how stable the servers are. There is a chance they may be leggy.
One positive thing is that they've made major improvements on the desyncing which caused the rubberbanding issues from the original. I still think it could be pretty laggy day 1.

everyone dismisses HC at first but in about two weeks when everyone is bored of a 20 year old game they just spent $40 on, youll see the light

Im running with a few others but I'll definitely need some folks to trade with (that are playing on PC).
Im "working from home" the next two days so i'll be leveling a zealer by myself and probably an MF blizz sorc with the group im running with when they are on.

Yep, finishing up the preload right now. It's installed and ready to go. Just waiting for that play button to go live

I just lost my level 92 Pally yesterday doing MF in Chaos Sanctuary. I had been playing on SP in anticipation. I love HC SP but I lost too many characters on the old battle net purely due to lag. I stopped doing HC on BNet a long time ago.
I'm happy to see how this game works on the new BNet and fully plan to play HC if it's stable. It's so fun and causes you to pay much more attention and not just rush through the game. I love it.
