My sorc just sets everything on fire. No mercenary, just fire bolts and fireballs.

I had a 25 summoner that I accidentally deleted. I died because Duriel don’t give no fricks and no monsters nearby to replenish skeletons.
Now I have a 20 Sorc l. fire ball just melts everything lol. Mana management is the only thing I do. With prayer merc, I don’t hardly use health potions 3/4 columns on belt is mana

Gotta have that iron maiden for duriel as a solo Necro. Took me a few tries and a respec. After that it's run in with the gang, do as much damage as possible and then run around spamming clay golem and iron maiden. Let duriel kill herself.

Summoner 9s just slow until you get enough points in summon skeleton/skeletons mastery and a few points in Corpse Explosion. Points in CE make the radius larger and will kill larger packs. Also having a strong Merc will help kill the first mobs to summon your skeleton. Also, put one point in Amp Damage and use that on the mobs your skeletons are hitting. Don't waste points in skeletons mages early on, they are kinda trash. Once you can get some revives you can select the higher dmg mobs to rez and fight for you.
Once you get to NM get an A2 merc with might, it will make your skeletons hit much harder.
Summoner is going to be really slow through normal. It picks up a lot later when you have more points.

That may be hold down the right stick while hovering over the belt? I know that's how you do it from inventory to belt, but haven't tried for the vendor yet.
Not able to get it working for the vendor. I never noticed it said "R3 Hold to populate belt"...great catch.

so yeah, went back to my level 52 sorc and i can't even clear the first room of Durance of Hate Level 3 by myself on nightmare.
