Is there a way to highlight all the loot that is on the ground for consoles?
If I recall correctly, I think for PC you used to be able to hold ALT (maybe?) and the names of everything on the ground would pop up.

Yes, it's level 85 as well. Key note, champions can drop gear up to +2 of the area level and uniques/bosses can drop up to gear +2 of area level. This really only matters for the few quality level 87 items on the game.
Tunnels are great for cold sorts.
A1 Mausoleum and Pit are great 85 spots for fresh hell players.
Here is a list of all the Area Levels
ETA I called the gold monsters bosses, but actual bosses drop up to +3 of the area level. Just to clarify.

I mean, a +84 to mana ring is really good early on.
Don't be looking to find GG items. Find items with the stats you need. I beat NM with a white belt for the extra potion slots, sigon boots, and blue gloves and my rings were plain FCR and one FCR +9 MF. My ammy was 16 all res.
Look for items with life/vitality mana/energy resistances faster cast rate and faster hti recovery. That's all you NEED as a sorc. Sorcs are so strong just from their skills. He'll you could probably beat NM naked as a sorc.
Fill in some slots with MF pieces if you can't find anything else, it will help you fine better items. You're not going to get GG items until late NM or Hell.
Also as a sorc make Leaf runeword it's super cheap and can go in a 2os stall. You just need tir ral. Make sure it's a staff not orb.
You can also just shop a 2os helms and put rubies for more life, tir runes for more mana after kill, diamonds for all res.

I just missed out on a pul rune today. We need to get an ubers group together. I’ve never done them but we could farm them until each in the group got their torch
