I would just really hate to give up the melee aspect of taking care of business myself. But, it sure seems to take a long time to get through trash.

I would recommend the wizard if that is what you are after. Plenty of good ranged skills, AOE, and some cool new defensive skills like slow time where you create a bubble around yourself where anything that comes inside of it is slowed down to almost a crawl whether it be ranged attacks or enemies themselves.

Already have it. Played the beta as a demon hunter myself. I love the range attack classes, so that's probably what I'll go with.
