Every time I log in, the entirety of my buddy list that is doing "endgame content" is repeatedly farming the latest farmable chest or goblin people have found.
Nobody wants to farm Valor stacks because the reward to time spent is so much worse than mindlessly popping a chest ad infinitum. Right now the endgame farming is infinitely more dreary than Baal runs ever were.
They just made way too many mistakes with way too little testing and given that I don't see any mechanism for a ladder reset (ala open and closed realm from D2) there doesn't seem to be much hope that it will get better.
Hopefully Torchlight 2 will scratch the right itch.

I wouldn't let the rmah bother you. You can farm gear just like they can buy it. If your not willing to put the time in the find stuff then the only person you should be mad at is yourself and not blizzard. You think you should be able to play the game for 3 weeks and kill act4 inferno? Sure some people did. I bet they have a week of play time.
I rolled a monk saw that melee was to difficult in inferno so I rolled a DH got about 200mf and i find 1-2 million gold every 1-2 hrs. I'm not sure what you guys thought the game was going to be.

This happened to me. I was stuck on A2 Hell for at least a week. I searched on the AH for a level 60 weapon with around 554 dps and level requirement reduction of 10, and I blew through Hell in 1 night.
Just started inferno last night, beat skeleton king and now having some serious problems

The only problem I had with Hell was killing Diablo itself, which I needed a wizard to dps while I tanked him.

I don't know what to play but D3 at this point. I was hooked on WoW again before D3 launched, and my friends want me to be back on wow, but I'm not sure that I want to be..

That's where I'm at. I can't decide it try to ride it out with D3, go back to wow, or wait for something better to come out.

Exactly what's happening with me, I have a 730dps weapon to use at Level 60, but I just got to Level 57 so I'm trying to just coast in public games leveling up as much as I can before I get too much further. Might even go run through Act 1 again since it was pretty easy with my 403dps weapon I currently have.

Really? What classes are yall? I'm breezing through most of Hell mode. Well, I run into hard elites but it's not too bad. My weapons' DPS are both about 350. My damage stat is right at 5k IIRC. Monk.

Wizard. 9.2K damage, 3,052 armor, 11K health.
