I was delighted to see a bunch of friends on earlier then disappointed to see everywhere was in the vault

We wanted to invite you but you were still at level 24. We were also waiting for GalvoAg but it started getting late and we were getting antsy so we went ahead and started and then GalvoAg got on when we reached the final boss... We can run it again GalvoAg if you'd like. After we knock it out with you, we can do it on hard mode.
ETA:
Last night was an extremely eventful night:
- Completed the weekly Nightfall and got ascendant shards and an the Exotic chest piece called Armentarium (sp?)
- Completed the weekly Heroic and got ascendant energy and 9 coins
- Completed the Raid and got ascendant shards/energy, legendary raid leg armor and the exotic shotgun universal remote
Forever spoiled
Not to mention that loopback completed it with us while on his first time in tVOG.

Yea, I did all of that too. Did not get anything great. Coins, shards and raid hands. Stupid hands have strength stat though. I don't want them.

The following changes will occur on 10/21/2014 07:00 A.M. Pacific Time
Damage Buffs to the following items:
Rocket Launcher will now fire Goose Down Pillows
Machine Guns will spurt out a shower of Glitter
Fusion Rifles will play audio samples of whales singing
Sniper Rifles will produce a bouquet of flowers of a random selection
Shotguns will cascade confetti
Pulse Rifles will emit approximately 3 butterflies of random species on each trigger pull (this applies to models that have 3 round burst and full auto features)
Auto Rifles can now harness the power of the rainbows and the colors that make them up, however all lethal rounds have been removed from the magazine as to not shoot one's self in the foot
Scout Rifles have had an upgrade to ammunition: All rounds will be immediately converted to a light mist of water upon leaving the fire arm
Grenades have been replaced with cotton balls
Fist/Melee: All Guardians have had an ample upgrade to melee combat- All fists are now marshmallows and this will show when holding a weapon and when you attack using your melee
Supers/Specials: All Super abilities will now cause guardians to hug nearby enemies and/or guardians/trees/shrubs. If no object is present, Guardian will perform self-hug
Along with this update, you will receive 2 new events!
Raid: Squishy Squiggles of Meatloaf Mountain
Crucible Event: Raisin of Valor

EDIT: Hand Cannons have been fitted with a noise maker that plays babies giggling. This change has affected the ammo capacity and will no longer hold lethal rounds.

I'm not ready for the vault yet, I'm level 25. This week I am focusing on getting vangaurd marks.
I did try out the scout rifle in a PvP match last night and it was very effective. That may become my weapon.

It took me a while as well to get to 26. Just requires doing your dailies, bounties, and grinding those marks.

Almost to 25 now, and it's taking me forever to get to 26. Getting all of that rep is ridiculous... such a grind

I spent a lot of my time doing PvP normally. So I had enough for 2 armor pieces as soon as I hit rank 2. As long as you've been doing your bounties and got your queen gear, it shouldn't be that bad.

I played vault at level 24 and got through fine. of course with the help of some other higher ranked gaurdians

They talk about an "Agent of the Nine". He appears only on Friday and Saturday selling various Exotic and Legendary loot in exchange for Strange Coins. It's the easiest way to get high lvl stuff with the Queen gone.
