That's what I thought I read too but just wasn't sure if I read it correctly. Maybe in the next patch, they'll nerf The Cryptarch.

Agreed, its frustrating on these missions that you have to form your own fireteam instead of it matching you up with randoms like the other strikes. If I don't have friends on I have to take to td.com and hope to find someone that wants to join in. If they would just put a chat box so I can ask the the tower population if they would be insterested in joining me, that would be great.

Long ago during development, the Cryptarch decoded engrams of a given color into gear of that same color. Early in 2014 we added randomness, both for better and worse, to the decrypting process. The result was that end-of-session engram decoding got a lot more exciting and the Cryptarch himself suddenly acquired a personality. Both of these experiences were positive additions to the game.
But we didn't adequately communicate the potential random outcomes of decryption. Players see what looks like the familiar metaphor of item identification, while the Cryptarch thinks he's opening a grab bag of loot. Rage sharding of blues ensues. Expect to see changes to address this soon.

well he has become the most popular character in the game. Interesting that they are adjusting pvp weapons soon.

thank god!
ive said it from the beginning. you should not start off with a weapon that can be a 1SK in a PVP game mode. sniper rifle headshots are way too op.

Well how am I supposed to get my Queen's Bounty for 20 headshots with a sniper rifle in Crucible now? I need that Legendary Queen gear so I can't break it down!

Fusion rifles are far more OP than sniper rifles. I don't like using mine because I know it's cheap and it feels dirty.

They're working on updating the servers. At least that's the pop up message that I got a few minutes ago said. Also said to expect intermittent loss of connection to the servers during the update.

I got an exotic weapon bounty earlier today. Apparently I receive an exotic fusion rifle once i finish the bounty.
