Crota is when I took time off. I did Crota for the first time about a month ago

This is completely false. I've cleared HM multiple times with the no knight strat and also using the normal strat.
The no knight strat is primarily for teams that may be a little under leveled because you don't really have to shoot anything if you aren't on the sister platforms or for people who just want to get it done quick.
If you do it correctly it's so simple that it makes it as easy as NM is. I was also a skeptic about this, the first 20 times I tried it we wiped, but now the people I go with have gotten it down and as long as there's good communication it's super simple.
I honestly prefer the regular strategy though. It's actually somewhat challenging.

Probably not. The engrams become nice when you are in the 300-310 light range.
This is because at light level 300, the engram has the chance to drop a light LV 310 item.
It is great because even if you don't get the piece you want you can infuse it into other gear.
I am glad it is arms because that is my lowest light level on my 3 guys.
But at your level, you would only get light LV 280 or 290 anyways. (Can't remember how they drop at your light)
You should probably take the sure thing.
Exotic engrams are random so you could get any class type, unlike legendary engrams which are always the class you are on.
