Prison of Elders was never worth the time anyway. I think you can get a bunch of coins/motes from doing it, but other than that it's pretty worthless. The weapons and armor are all 170ish, I believe.
If they didn't upgrade Vault of Glass throughout the first year, I sincerely doubt they upgrade PoE.

Only if you need coins or motes, like Totes said. Other than that, no. I'd say you can do it for fun if you're bored, but it's not fun.

It just wasn't worth any gain from it. Her Benevolence was the one weapon worth getting, but that was it. Plus you could get that from the 28 chest. None of the armor or weapons were really worth a shite. It felt like 75% of the time, the armor was full strength. They'd throw in arc burn on the hive room every once in a while, which was straight torture for no gain.

The PoE is set up in a way that they could add challenging bosses at say 260+ light with loot to match, but since it hasn't changed at all it's quite useless.
