The crucible scales back higher level players abilities and stats for guns and armor to a baseline average for all players in the crucible. The Iron Banner will be like the crucible but nothing will be scaled back as far as your player is concerned and you'll get to ball out with all of your players abilities and stats.

Open a command prompt and type: "ping -t 8.8.8.8" it will start a continuous ping to Google's public dns server. You are looking for "request timed out" not "reply from xxxxx" (reply from is normal) if you get more than two or three "request timed out" responses in a row, then you are experiencing significant enough packet loss to disconnect you from the Destiny Servers. If you have that much packetloss, it's probably modem related. Either signal strength or noise on the node upstream. (Both cable company's issue to fix)

I wouldn't worry about wifi channels too much. Usually the router negotiates that for you.

If you want to rule out wifi, hook a laptop directly to the modem and run the pings.

When you say it's the cable company's issue to fix, are you referring to the actual signal or the hardware? Because I purchased both the Motorola Surfboard and Netgear wireless router from Best Buy so they are not Cox provided equipment (but the Surfboard is supported and offered by Cox).

For those who entered the Emblem and Shader codes, I just realzied that in order to receive them in the game from the post master, you need to log in to your bungie.net account, click on Profile and then Codes. Once you get to the codes page, scroll down and click on every "Get now" button in your list. This will send finish the process and the emblems and shaders will be available for you to pick up from the post master when you go back to the tower.

Not sure if everyone knew this already or not, but I was wondering where the hell the emblems and shaders I entered the codes for were at and so I went to the website and noticed you had to do what I just described. If you knew this already, and if not

They're all listed in the OP on the first page.
Just log into bungie.net and enter the codes and for the emblems and shader codes, after you enter the codes go click on "Profile" and then "Codes" and click "get now" on all of the emblem and shader ones you entered (there's descriptions next to all codes you entered so you'll know which ones are the emblems and shaders).

Nothing like that thrill of 1 person being alive and counting down for the others to revive

Weapons/armor perks are still active and the ability customization given by later levels is still there. The advantage is minimal, but it's not completely even ground.
