Accidently killed an NPC Gavlan (Axe name is Gyrm's Axe) by the pirateship. If any of you cross him let me know what he does/why he is special.

Soooo I just completed Dark Souls 1. That was by far the most gratifying gaming experience I've ever had, and I still feel like there's so much more to do in this game.
Debating on starting a new character or going out and getting DS2. I don't think I'm done with DS1 yet...

I didn't realize how deep the lore is in this game. I put a few pieces together with some of the characters in DS1, but clearly there's way more to this game's story than I thought.
DS2 follows the story from DS1 correct?
Also...the guy narrating those videos is hilarious.

This game fricking rocks.
Got to the Cardinal's Castle in the Forest of the Fallen Giants and was able to unlock the Blacksmith.
It took me a while because I didn't know that your blades didn't repair when you hit rested at a bonfire...I thought you needed a Blacksmith. I was using broken swords that took about 10-15 hits per guy until I realized it.
Does anyone know if there is a way to compare your equipment/armor/weapons when shopping to what you have? There seems to be no option to view a comparison. I would think this would be built in.

How are the bosses so far?
Posted on 3/12/14 at 8:02 am to Scruffy
Haven't gotten to one yet actually.
From the reviews they said a little underwhelming with a few standouts.

Does the game feel like they rushed it? That's what I'm most worried about.
