The next patch is supposed to address DMB & BS summoning issues.

I have not had ANY issues being summoned as a BS. Is that just a PC problem? I can't go 10 minutes without being summoned on XBONE.

I am planning on grinding out Pale Tongues, Swordgrass, and some Vertebra Shackles. I would really prefer to not have to include two more items on there.

Pale Tongues aren't bad. Shackles aren't either. I'm going to fight club it for the shackles. I'm a little bit worried about the sword grass though.

Man it feels like if you don't hit the perfect level range for Farron you just totally blow the chance to get Swordgrass without PvE farming.

I have a question for y'all. If someone effectively googles their way through a souls game, can they claim to have beaten it?

Sure. Just summoning two white phantoms for each boss is a much bigger benefit to beating the game the game. Googling will tell you how to do the quests and the locations of some weapons/items, but those aren't really big deals.

there are very few people who do the souls games 100% blind... I'm basically a vet at the games by this point, and I don't even do it 100% blind... frick that

Ok I've been looking for this under the tower place for a day. I'm looking everywhere. Where is it.

And I just drank estrus soup. What in the world?

Here is my super detailed map... which after your edited comment I'm thinking you aren't in the undead settlement ... so it's not going to do you any good:

I think you're looking for the flames to extinguish in the swamp?

Right behind the estus soup is a giant tower with a demon, bonfire, and covenant on top. From the top of that tower, you can see the fires you have to extinguish, and in what direction they are. Extinguish the small fires at the base of each tower.

I just found it. It's a hard side path from the fourth bonfire of the tree boss part. Some huge keep looking place just opened

Fathead npc inside

It has a lift down and I got trashed by some ice sword monster great no bonfire found. Messages said dash for it and I got crushed.

Wait. Don't do that yet.

Go back to the tower, click the elevator, then immediately get off. Another one will show up that carries you up. Go talk to the giant. He'll stop shooting arrows at you and you can get all the souls/items from the area before the tree.

Also, there is a platform halfway down that elevator ride. Jump onto it to find fathead NPC and help him fight a demon.

Do all that before fighting the ice guy.

ETA: There is a shortcut from the bridge bonfire to the tower. Have you found the giant rat?

That frost thing guards the entrance to the next area, but you still have stuff to do in undead settlement.

The sewer where the rat is works as a shortcut from the dillapidated bridge bonfire to that tower. Make sure to open it up.

Also in that sewer is a locked gate. If you found the ashes in that level, the shopkeeper lady will have a sewer key for you to open that door. That's how you get to that ravine with the crystal lizards you've been seeing on your way to the tower.

You should also help the onion knight (Seigbreau or whatever) fight the stray demon before leaving.

What are you playing on? If XBONE I'll jump on for some coop with you tonight and help you through.
