It's like a quick inventory
eta: you can put stuff there you can use in the quick menu so you dont have to have them in your main item slot cluttering it up (like homeward bone, embers, etc)

he fricked me up, I had to get to him first but I didnt have time to try multiple times. I had him down to one more hit and he went into that weapon art and wrecked me

Question for the vets out there. I'm thinking I want to be a hybrid going. I'd like to add Pyromancy spells to my DEX/STR build. I'm at LVL 23 with 20 DEX and 18 STR.
Would it be viable to start that path? If so where can I get the fire spell at?

Anything is viable. Put your summon sign down and farm some souls while getting gud. I just freed the pyromancer NPC from the second area, so probably him.

You have to unlock the pyromancer in undead settlement, he's trapped in a cage somewhere. Just know that most pyro spells require points in faith and int. You can respec a little later if you're worried about wasted stats.

i can go to either Cathedral or Ithryll at the moment. think im gonna knock out Cathedral first.

The best area in the game is after the catacombs, and there is a secret area that you can climb down after cutting down a bridge.
There's a few stinkers, unfortunately. It wouldn't be a Souls game without them I guess. Aldrich drove me up the fricking wall with its constant spamming.

I just beat my favorite boss in the game so far, mainly because there's no gimmicks or any other spammy bullshite.

I'm only at lothric castle walls and this game seems way harder than the older 2
