I can’t believe they aren’t using the looting system from the original Warzone. It looks like it’s a pain in the arse to loot in this game.
They basically need Blackout with Warzone looting and it’s a god tier game.

Just got home and looks like the whole game got reinstalled for the 116Gb size..WZ2 is only around 6 total..

can someone explain to me how the Gold camo is supposed to be applied? it appears that i have unlocked it, but i can't apply it to the gun.

it's a PC player issue:
The issue seems to primarily be affecting PC players and is due to a bug surrounding keyboard and mouse users. Firstly, you’re going to want to double-check the gold camo is unlocked. While you may think unlocking the first four weapon mastery camos is enough, you’ll then need to complete the first challenge in the completionist section to unlock the gold variant in Modern Warfare 2. You can easily view this by highlighting the locked camo in that section.
That being said, you may not be able to select it, and this brings us to the current gold camo bug in Modern Warfare 2. If you’re using a keyboard and mouse, you may notice you’re unable to hover over it with a mouse. Even if it’s locked, it won’t let you know the challenge to unlock it.
To rectify this, simply use the WASD or arrow keys on your keyboard to select it. Once you’ve done this, press the space bar and you will equip the gold camo for the gun. Again, make sure the camo itself is definitely unlocked, and if not, complete the challenge it says above when you highlight it.

Call of Duty being buggy as hell is the least surprising thing ever.
I will say, however, that I AM surprised the aren't gamebreaking glitches like Warzone constantly had.

I was able to pick which things I wanted to install. Do I actually have to download the whole 116 gb? I just went with "game" and "warzone" on the selection screen.
