ehhh, it’s weird. when lobby shopping in a party you only pull up the editable stock create a class menu, not yours. in game, you can edit you class but it’s a dumbed down version.
it’s certainly frustrating. and you have to ask the party leader to back all the way out every few games so you can edit your classes from the edit class normal ui

I want to say with at least BF3 and 4 when you unlocked a gun or attachment you were allowed to change things up in game. That was always annoying when switching over to COD and having to wait until the game was over to equip any new unlocks.

You can change in game. Its just a pain. Plus, you are just sitting there, waiting to be shotgunned.

Yea you can edit your loadout in game. You just have to then die again for it to take effect.

Wish you could only run a shotty or pistol with a riot shield. Hate that it’s a thing to run around with one just so you don’t get shot in the back maybe I should try this. Lol

I don’t know about new unlocks obtained in the middle of a match, but you’ve been able to edit your class mid game since MW2019.
MW2(2022) is weird though. You can edit your gun’s attachments mid game , but you can’t adjust your perks. But perks are different this year as they’re in their own grouping class. You can have multiple pre-built perk classes.

I guess I don't get the unlocking system. It says to get the kastov 545 I need to get the 762 to level 10. I have it on level 10 but the 545 is still locked.

74u not classified as an AR in this game? I guess I don’t understand the unlock stuff either..I thought it was an SMG just locked behind an AR stock haha

This got me too. You have to complete the level to get it.
So, I started running around with the 74U 762. Did ok with it. The gameplay is better and I'm not sucking every single game now. Just 1 out of 5, lol. The UI is still shite and, since the update, you can sometimes get into the weapons menu between matches....but the game hasn't crashed again, which is good.
