is this game that big it has a midnight release? I played asylum a couple of months ago and didn't find it to be much fun...you can't even shoot anyone

the "shoot anybody" was a joke. Not close minded, I just wasn't impressed with Asylum. In fact, you couldn't pay me to play that game again.

In this game you can shoot people with a taser, but thats it. Batman with a gun is not Batman. Batman retires in the animated series solely because he had to use a gun to win in a single fight.
But all indications are that this game is significantly better than its predecessor, which to be honest the plot of the first one wasn't that great. Just Joker taking over Arkham and making monsters to take over it. The plot in that one is necessary for the sequel, and boy is it a great story.

Umm, no he wouldn't. He gives the criminals a handicap with the gun. Batman is so badass that he never needs to pop a cap in someone's arse. He's the God Damn Batman!
