I don't know about out of game squads, but it is really a bad mistake by DICE not having it in BF4.
It crashed my PS4 twice yesterday...finally decided to just nail down the campaign.

Its probabaly more EA than the console.
BF4 on PS3 is suffering through the same problems.
I played about 5 games last night. Froze twice mid game and once between levels. Fun stuff.

Mine crashed twice Sat., but I deleted the entire install and reinstalled it and didn't have a problem since.
ETA: Hasn't froze at all, in any game.
