Says it does, but doesn't have a 4K optical drive, so not sure how that works

Like last year’s Xbox One S, it can play 4K UHD content, including UHD Blu-rays.

I think they have screwed up by pricing it at $499.

The masses don't look at specs. They look at price.

Then they are idiots because that is a powerful machine.

Only so low they can go with the price.

The issue is going to be the games. How many will utilize the X?

I agree it is very powerful and gamers understand the specs. The masses just don't get it.

Well this isn't going to be for the people thinking whether or not to buy into the current gen.

Been waiting to see what this thing is about. Will probably buy a new TV and Receiver to take full advantage.

So does this "new" XB actually play games at 60 FPS now?

Only game shown running at 60 FPS was Forza. Have a feeling a number of games will have some sort of variable FPS at 4K resolution. They never mentioned FPS at the conference.

I will get one but I have two Xbone S consoles now and only have two TVs in my house. Both of my TVs are 4k so that's why I upgraded from the OG Xbone.

Guess I can trade in a console though I hate doing that and don't feel like selling it on eBay or something.

So I guess the Bethesda conference was kind of a last minute push back.

I actually want an XboneX more than I wanted the original xbone... I just can't justify a $500 purchase this year after getting the switch
